Combi Boiler

At Boosted we install several different boiler models, one of the boilers we install is the Combi Boiler. Below we have included some information on the Combi Boiler, along with its advantages and disadvantages to help you decide whether it is the right boiler for you.

Combi boilers are one of the most common boiler models in the UK, over 70% of homes in the UK choose the Combi boiler. Combi boilers are highly efficient and compact which makes them perfect for those of you who have a smaller home, the Combi Boiler heats water directly from your mains so it does not need a hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard giving you more space as it also does not need a cold-water cistern in the loft space.
The process of installing the combi boiler is straight forward and provides you with more storage space in the airing cupboard and the loft space as we remove your older regular system. If you are looking for an efficient boiler that delivers central heating and hot water instantly from the same unit then this is the boiler for you!

The advantages of the Combi Boiler are that they have a compact size which means they are perfect for smaller homes, you only heat the water you need as the Combi Boiler can be more efficient therefore saving energy and money, you can have hot water on demand which is also unlimited as you will not have to wait for the cylinder to heat up. The Combi Boiler should maintain an equal pressure throughout the house in all taps and showers if your property has an average water pressure and a goof flow rate.

The disadvantages of the Combi boiler are that you can only run one shower or bath at time, this can be avoided as you can have a larger combi boiler installed which will give you amazing water pressure and flow rate into your home. Another disadvantage is that as there is no hot water cylinder you do not have an immersion heater so if your boiler does break down then you are left with no heat or hot water until it is fixed.

At Boosted we can install your boiler with one of our Gas Safe registered installers, they will survey, quote, and install your boiler. Every boiler we supply and install receives free first service.
