The Mixergy cylinder has volumetric heating meaning you can only heat what you need! It heats water differently since it heats from the top rather the bottom, the cylinder will save you less than 20% on your hot water bills by reducing your energy wastage. The Mixergy cylinder delivers hot water to your home up to five times faster with electric and two times faster with gas in comparison to conventional tanks.
Mixergy also has an app you can download where you can know how much hot water is available, boost your tank when you need to, change the hot water temperature target, set your tank to maintain hot water volumes between two levels so you never run out of hot water, and set a schedule that works for you. All of this and more can be controlled at the touch of a button on your phone.
The Mixergy tank differs to regular conventional tanks as conventional hot water tanks heat all or nothing disregarding how much water is needed by the user, this results in wasting energy heating to heat water that is not required. The Mixergy tank however has novel top-up technology to enable you to selectively heat by volume as opposed to time, the temperature sensors also make sterilisation cycles and hot water volumes measurable, lastly the Mixergy tank includes internet connection and an app which provides smart remote control.
